17th of May in Brazil

For most of the world, 17th of May is just another day, but for a Norwegian like me, it is a day to celebrate the constitution and the independence of Norway.
Here in Guarapari, I know few other Norwegians, and those I know have the same kind of work as me (i.e. is a lot of time away from home), so this year I had to celebrate alone. Not quite alone. I got my wife and my step daughter to gather friends around for a BBQ, and I have my mother over for visit.
So we got a few people collected, and had some meat on the plates, and we even had people in our pool.

When you have no traditions, invent them!
